Ashwagandha root extract capsules
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a small shrub in the nightshade family. Its root has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic practice. Today root extracts are sold as food supplements, usually standardised to a stated percentage of withanolides, the plant’s characteristic compounds.
